      Designed for intermediate surfers, this short-sleeved UV-protection T-shirt protects you from the sun’s rays during your summer sessions

      The Kanika T-shirt provides extra coverage and protects against chafing. The two ties at the sides let you attach the top to your bottoms.

      Drawstrings at the sides

      This UV-protection top has two drawstrings at the hips that can be used to attach the sides of the top to your swimsuit bottoms to keep them both in place in the waves. The drawstring can also be used to adjust the fit of the top slightly. A loop at the bottom of the top can be used to attach it to swim shorts or leggings.

      Our UV tops are designed for surfers who want to enjoy the pleasures of the water. This UV-protection T-shirt designed for surfing is also suitable for other water sports such as swimming, kitesurfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, sea wading or SUP (stand-up paddleboarding).

      UPF 50+ protection, even when wet

      The fabric of this UV-resistant product blocks at least 98% of UVB radiation and 95% of UVA (UPF 50+). This guarantees effective protection from the sun. It can be used both in and out of the water, for water or nautical sports. The density of the textile fibres filters out UV rays, for long-lasting protection, even after washing. Warning: the elastane in the fibres may deteriorate in chlorinated water.

      How to choose your UV protection t-shirt

      All our UV-protection T-shirts are UPF 50+. In other words, they offer the highest level of sun protection. The choice between them will therefore be made based on the length of the sleeves and will depend on what it will be used for. The constraints are greatest for surfing so we decided to build our range primarily for surfing.
      You should make your choice according to the duration of your sessions: 1 hour, 2 hours or 3 hours."

      Behaviour when in the sun

      Although this t-shirt provides protection from the sun, phenomena such as reflections (from the water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, etc., must be taken into account. Wearing this T-shirt does not exempt the wearer from adopting suitable behaviour: wear sunglasses, wear a hat or cap, regularly apply an appropriate sun cream, drink regularly, etc.
