How does this high-support convertible strap sports bra free your movements?

A pleasant workout experience depends on comfortable clothing that frees your movements. That's what we had in mind when designing this sports bra. Its straps are adjustable and can be worn straight or crossed. To cross them at the middle of your back, just use the hook to attach the two rings together. This frees your shoulder blades for greater ease of movement.

How does this high support convertible strap sports bra wick away perspiration?

In sport, making an effort often involves breaking a sweat. You certainly appreciate being able to push your limits, but you're not sure that you love ending up soaked at the end of a workout. We thought of you when we added a few details to this sports bra to help keep you dry. Lace lined with mesh helps to create a breathability zone between the breasts for better perspiration wicking.

What type of cups does this high support convertible strap sports bra have?

This sports bra has 2 cups made of a thin, flexible foam for optimal comfort. The foam also helps hide the shape of the nipple.

While exercising, your breasts, which are fragile and supported almost exclusively by skin, experience much more stress than in everyday life. No matter your cup size or age, they're subjected to movements and bouncing that can create a force of up to five times their weight. High, medium or light support, what should you choose?

The tension created during sports activities stretches the skin and ligaments of the bust. Without adequate support, you're more likely to suffer from pain or premature sagging. On the other hand, too much support can also have harmful consequences. So your bra needs to have the right level of support for your cup size as well as for the intensity of the impacts. The idea is to protect your bust without altering natural breast movement.

How do we test the support levels offered by Decathlon's sports bras?

Decathlon sports bras are approved in our laboratories using a bust support test. This measures the reduction in acceleration of breast movement during exercise. There are three levels of support: 1 for light support, 3 for medium support and 5 for high support.

Which level of support do you need for which activity?

The support of the bra should be adapted to each activity. Our range comes in three levels:
- Level 1: light support is intended for activities that cause gentle breast movement (Pilates, stretching, strength training, etc.);
- Level 3: medium support is made for activities that lead to a moderate level of bounce (dancing, fitness, cardio training, etc.);
- Level 5: high support for activities involving intensive movements (step aerobics, running, trampolining, etc.).

How do you know which size sports bra to get?

Choosing a well-fitting sports bra ensures that it will support your chest and be comfortable. To find your size, get a tape measure, then:
- Stand in front of a mirror;
- Place the tape horizontally at the top of your back, on the lower part of the shoulder blades;
- Bring the tape measure across the fullest part of your bust;

How to put on the high support convertible strap sports bra

To make it easier to put on your sports bra, we recommend fastening it in the front, then slipping the clasp around to the back. Then bring it up over the bust and slide on the straps as you would with a standard bra.

How are Decathlon sports bras designed?

How to care for the high support convertible strap sports bra

Designed for intensive sports use, this sports bra is created to withstand repeated washing. We recommend not exceeding a temperature of 30°C and using our specially-designed laundry bag (ref: 8505236). Use liquid detergent rather than powder, and do not use softeners as they may affect the fabric's breathability.
