      Despite the absence of laces on this model, it remains firmly on the foot thanks to the reinforced strips that attach either side of the tongue and help ensure good grip.

      What is a vulcanised sole?

      A vulcanised sole - a must in the world of skating - is a sole made from rubber that is heated under pressure. Vulcanisation glues together the fabric upper, the rubber band and the sole.
      This technique has numerous benefits: it creates a shoe that is flexible, lightweight and with excellent traction. This gives you a better feel of the skateboard for improved precision when doing tricks.

      What are the differences between high and low shoes?

      Aside from their style, high and low shoes do not offer the same advantages.
      A high-top shoe will give you more stability, ankle protection and support while a low-top style provides a greater range of movement and makes for a lighter shoe.

      Is the new VULCA 500 II sturdy?

      This additional robust, discreet protection stops holes developing as quickly on the sides of your shoes when they repeatedly rub against the board's grip.
      On top of this, the shoe's outsole is 11% thicker to stand up to wear without compromising boardfeel and grip.

      We have listened to customer feedback and, based on this, redesigned it with a thinner, narrower shape. This closer-fitting shape helps you better feel the board when doing tricks, and increases precision and control in all situations.

      How do you choose your skate shoe size?

      New vulcanised skate shoes are generally fairly narrow during the first few uses, especially the Slip-On models.They adjust after being worn for a few hours (the vulcanised band deforms to fit the foot). The best thing is to get skate shoes that are fitted.For narrow feet, we recommend choosing your usual size.For wide feet, do not hesitate to choose one size above, especially when wearing them on a daily basis.

      Cast polyurethane insole: more comfort and protection when landing jumps.

      The polyurethane insole continues to absorb impacts over time while retaining boardfeel.
      At 9 mm thick under the heel and 5 mm under the toe, this insole has no fear of gaps.
      As the polyurethane doesn't stay deformed after being compressed, this sole retains its initial shape and its technical properties for longer.

      Je skate depuis plus de 35 ans et je suis très exigeant avec mes chaussures, jamais je n'aurais cur acheter une chaussure décathlon et puis j'ai testé cette slip on. elle est plus lourde qu'un vans mais increvable, ça accroche, c'est sobre, et surtout quand on a fini de skater avec elles dureront des années pour d'autres activités. je venais ici pour en acheter quelques paires et elle semble discontinuée. je ne veux pas vous donner de conseil mais bon, c'ets la seule de la gamme qui rivalisait avec une bonne chaussure de skate donc ne l'arretez pas!

      Fiind vorba de un model de incaltaminte conceputa special pentru practica de skateboard sau longboard/cruising si avand conformatie slip-on, adica fara posibilititatea de a-l strange pe picior din siret, aceasta trebuie sa fie mai stramta pentru a nu sari din picior in timpul rulajului sau a practicii mai agresive in skateparkuri.
