How to prevent blisters
To prevent blisters, choose well-fitting shoes, wear suitable socks, lace them up properly and adjust the laces before climbing and descents. Then start with short outings to get your new pair of shoes used to your feet.
How do we test waterproofing?
Our boots undergo an intensive test in the lab to guarantee their waterproofing properties. They are immersed in water and are folded up in water up to a certain level, replicating real-life hiking conditions. This test ensures that your feet stay dry, even in wet or rainy conditions.
How to choose the right socks?
For comfortable hiking, choose Merino wool or synthetic socks for better breathability and to prevent blisters. Opt for a thickness depending on the season and the terrain and make sure that they adjust to the shoe without any folds.
How should you look after your shoes?
Air dry: Leave them to dry naturally,
Clean off the mud: Remove mud dry with a hard brush,
Treat stains: Brush with warm water,
Drying: Make sure they are completely dry,
Re-waterproof: Spray a solution to restore water-repellency.
