      TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

What's the difference between these poles and poles without an anti-shock system?

Its soft materials are also designed to reduce noise from impact. This pole is measured as being two times less noisy than a pole without an anti-shock tip (MT500).

      Is this pole really quiet?

The tip absorbs some of the impact by sliding into the body of the pole over approximately 1 cm. We have used silicone foam, a material that is particularly resistant to deformation and external impacts, which is designed to get crushed with impact and then return to its original shape.

How to adjust your poles to the correct length?

Hold the poles with your arms bent at a right angle. To do this:
      - Pull the lower part all the way out until the automatic push-pin (metal button) locks
      - Open the lever of the external lock mechanism
      - Slide the tube to the desired length
      - Close the lever
-Never go beyond the STOP line to avoid the risk of breaking the pole.

How do I use these hiking poles?

These hiking poles are designed to help you balance, propel yourself and to ensure both your arms and legs are working.
To be on the safe side, check that your poles are locked in place before you set off by putting a lot of your weight onto the poles.
Do not attach to your backpack in stormy weather.

How do I look after these hiking poles?

After use, if water has got into the pole, take the parts apart and allow to dry. Clean any dust and mud with or without water using a soft brush or paintbrush.
Once dry, you can reassemble the strands.
We recommend that you do not try to oil or grease them.

      Why are poles sold individually?

Poles are sold individually for two main reasons. Firstly because some people wish to use only one pole. Also, if one of your poles breaks, this means you only have to buy one and not a complete pair.
