3 STEPS TO FOLLOW A DIRECTION FROM "A" TO "B" OR TAKE A BEARING WITH A COMPASS
1 - Lay the compass down on the map. Line up the edge of the compass from point A to point B
2 - Turn the rotating bezel until the lines on the baseplate line up with the longitudinal lines
3 - With the compass held nice and flat in the hand and with the arrow pointing in the direction you're walking: Turn around until the magnetic needle of the compass is lined up with the north orienting arrow!
Let's go, you can move forwards by following the direction of travel arrow!

A more precise and intuitive wide needle
When designing this compass, we chose a wide needle to enable a more accurate and intuitive visual alignment between the needle and the grid lines on the map.
