Our pair of uneven bar grips are designed for women gymnasts of all levels who want to train and compete.
Our gymnastic grips are recommended by world-class gymnasts, and the high-quality leather fits to the shape of your hands easily and provides better grip on the apparatus.
Main fabric: 100.0% Leather - Bovine (Cattle); Webbing: 100.0% Polypropylene
You firstly need to measure the size of your hands [the grips do not correspond to your age].
For uneven bar grips, measure them from the base of your palm to the first joint on your middle finger (the uppermost line of the finger).
≤ 12 cm = Size 00
≤ 13.7 cm = Size 0
≤ 14.4 cm = Size 1
≤ 15.2 cm = Size 2
≤ 16 cm = Size 3
If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
Choosing your grip size
[Step 2]
Next place the grip around your wrist. The blue strap should go under your wrist bone. Stretch the grip against your open hand and check to see if the extremity of the leather is in place correctly (it should be at the first joint of your middle finger).
Grips designed for uneven bars have two holes (for the middle and ring fingers) as well as slight padding for better grip on the apparatus.
Why use grips?
These gymnastics grips help you grasp the apparatus without straining your forearms. We strongly recommend using them in addition to a terrycloth wristband, which you can wear underneath the grips.
The first time you use them
If the finger holes are too tight, you can sand them to make them bigger. But don't use scissors!
Rest assured that, after a few training sessions, the grips will be exactly the same shape as your hands.
How to clean your gymnastics grips
To make your grips more durable, you'll need to take good care of them. Because they're made from leather, they shouldn't be washed in water. Remember to wipe off any excess chalk after each training session. You can then put them away in a drawstring bag. We recommend keeping them in their own bag and washing this bag regularly.
Product testing
Our leather was tested in our laboratories using mechanical tests for stretch and resistance to tearing.
Our grips were then tested over time in partnership with 4 clubs and 3 national and international gymnastics organisations. Their demanding gymnasts helped us to perfect and approve the technical quality of our grips to meet the needs of our users.
