Good cushioning is essential for injury-free running. That's why our design teams have developed the new soft and responsive MFOAM foam, to provide all runners with genuine comfort that goes the distance.

EXCEPTIONAL STABILITY

To provide more stability to our men's running shoe, the KIPRUN KS900 sole's shape is wider than the other models in the range.This surface area offers greater stability when running, by distributing the forces involved more evenly, particularly over long distances.

COMFORT BEYOND ALL EXPECTATIONS

The slipper construction and foam used at the heel and tongue make you feel like you're running on a cloud.During the field tests, all the testers felt a different level of comfort compared to the other models in the KIPRUN range.You can cover many miles without difficulty!

UNIQUE DESIGN INSPIRATION

Our designer Nicolas wanted to make the shoe's main promise as visual as possible: comfort. Drawing inspiration from the world of mattresses, the ultra-cushioning features thick honeycomb foam padding.The components are flexible and soft, and the shapes are rounded.The MFOAM CUSHION of the sole also enhances the visual cushioning sought.With this running shoe, there's no doubt, comfort is guaranteed!

Good beginner stable running shoe.
Cushion is ok for the first 400km then it starts to fade. Outer sole is durable and have good grip.

I have these shoes and intended them for long run recovery sessions (2-3hr runs) in a value for money package that would take me through at least 1000km. So far fairly disappointed in them, I never use KS900s for anything over an hour as I find the fit uncomfortable, below are the main points.

The GOOD:
- Inexpensive
- Grippy tread even in the wet
- Excellent treadwear, not a sign of wear for over 150km that I've used them

The BAD:
- Heel toe drop too much (feels much much more than 8mm stated)
- Not suitable for negative slopes/downhill running, lack of mid-forefoot cushioning becomes more apparent
- Also the little to no forefoot and midsole cushioning makes it unsuitable for striking through the ball of the foot for good form
- Toes have no head room and front is pointy toed at toe no 3. Not comfortable for anything over 16km or so
- There is wide and soft cushioning but offers no stability in bends, much like a king size waterbed
- Uppers do not support the foot and allow sliding within the shoe, a smaller size cramps my toes.

Unfortunately my main gripe is that these KS900s are not cushioned in the correct areas, I have "Kiprun Fast 2"'s which are designed for faster shorter sessions and have far less cushioning than these but I'd rather use those for sessions up to 2 hrs. A total rework is needed.
