What is a longboard for?

Longboards are longer than ordinary skateboards. Their wheels are bigger and softer, making them more comfortable to ride. It's easier to pick up speed and you don't notice bumps as much because the soft wheels absorb vibrations. Basically, it's the perfect skateboard for short journeys around town and for casual rides. And as well as being fun, it's an friendly means of transport.
