Cut

We optimized this jacket to Asia fit. The so-called "raglan" sleeves that go up to the neckline allow for better stretch and free up your movements during your hike.
A warm layer, such as a fleece or a light down jacket, can be worn underneath.
You can choose your usual size, or a size up if you don't want to wear it fitted.

Hood

The hood is attached, adjustable in height and depth thanks to an elasticated drawstring.
The small detail that makes the difference: a triangular opening on the side of the hood for better visibility to the sides.

JACKET CONSTRUCTION / 3 LAYERS

This jacket is built with 3 layers, the best protection on the market: the membrane is glued between the inner layer and the outer layer of the component (hence the name 3-layer component).
The membrane is a kind of very thin polyurethane film, which makes the component waterproof, while remaining breathable.
It is protected by a knit, and has the advantage of being softer, lighter, more resistant and often more breathable than a coating.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JACKET?

This jacket has waterproof strips (to ensure perfect waterproofing) that are sensitive to machine washing and can peel off over time. We therefore recommend using a sponge with water to clean any traces on your jacket, and that you very rarely wash it in the washing machine at 30°C, if you want it to accompany you on a hike for as long as possible.

WATERPROOF TESTING

Impermeability is measured by the resistance of a fabric to water pressure expressed in mm of water column (test based on the JIS L 1092 standard).
The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric.
The component of this product has a waterproofing of 20000 mm and therefore withstands the pressure exerted by 20000 mm of water column.
It is also equivalent to 20000 Schmerbers.

HOW DO I REACTIVATE THE WATER REPELLENCY OF MY JACKET?

The water repellency of a fabric is its ability to let water slide over its surface, without absorbing it. This way, your jacket does not become waterlogged and remains light and breathable. Water repellency is obtained by a treatment applied to the outer surface of the fabric, but with use these properties can be altered.
