      How waterproof is it?

      This poncho has a high-performance fabric offering 5,000 mm H2O (Schmerber). Each seam is carefully taped for optimal waterproofing. Tested in our "Decathlon shower", it can withstand 6 cm of rain in 1 hour.

      What is the level of breathability of this rain poncho?

      We know that when you're putting in the effort on the trails, a poncho can quickly turn into a sauna. We have added two large openings under the arms to facilitate the evacuation of moisture under the rain garment. The RT12 breathable material is rated 3/5.

      How to put this poncho on

      Put on your poncho on in the blink of an eye. Hold the poncho by the shoulders, then in a loose movement, pass it over your head. Slip it over your backpack and put your arms through it. That’s all there is to it! To remove it, fully open the zip and remove it as you would a jumper.

      We've designed this poncho to last over time, so many parts can be repaired, with spare parts available on our website:

      What accessories should you use with this poncho?

      Pair your poncho with waterproof gaiters to avoid water getting into your shoes. To avoid the bottom of your legs getting wet, you can wear rain trousers.

      How to re-waterproof the poncho

      To maintain the effectiveness of your garment, regularly apply a waterproofing product in spray or liquid form. This action revives the fabric's water-repellent properties and preserves its waterproof properties over time, ensuring optimal protection throughout the product's life span.

      un poncho PAR-FAIT pour la randonnée !!! je l aurais préféré un petit plus court (je fais 1m55) car il m arrivé mi mollet mais au moins j aurais pas les jambes mouillées !

      Je ne peux encore juger de l'imperméabilité puisque je ne l'ai pas encore utilisé en situation mais après l'avoir essayé, à première vue la conception est intéressante.
      Les manches s'ajustent bien à l'aide de scratch, idem pour la capuche.
      L'ouverture frontale facilite l'enfilage de la pèlerine. L'arrière se replie a l'aide de fermetures éclair si l'on souhaite l'utiliser sans sac à dos.

      Bémol sur les ouvertures qui permettent d'attraper des choses sous la pèlerine : l'idée est bonne mais ces "poches" ne ferment pas, ce sont juste des ouvertures... Donc je crains un peu le résultat sous une pluie battante.
      Deuxième bémol sur la longueur de la fermeture avant, qui ne descend pas complètement jusqu'en bas de la pèlerine et laissera là encore probablement passer l'eau entre les battants.
      À voir à l'usure mais autant les idées sont bonnes autant la réalisation pourrait être un peu plus aboutie.
      Je m'attendais à mieux mais ça reste pourtant une des meilleures pèlerine que j'ai vue, ne serait ce que pour ses manches.

      Avant tout, merci pour votre message concernant ce poncho ajustable.

      Je me permets de vous apporter des réponses sur vos quelques doutes.

      Concernant les ouvertures lattérales pour passer les mains, nous avons travaillé un certain degré d'inclinaison et un double flap qui ne permet pas à l'eau de remonter car tout le tour de l'ouverture est étanché. Nous testons biensûr nos produits en laboratoire avec ce que nous appelons un "test douche" et nous les testons aussi en usage. Vous n'aurez pas de problème d'imperméabilité.

      Pour ce qui est de la fermeture avant qui ne descend pas jusqu'en bas du poncho, c'est bien un choix de conception. Nous avion testé une première version avec la fermeture complète et nous nous sommes rendus compte que dans l'usage, le poncho une fois fermé jusqu'en bas, ne permettait pas une bonne liberté de mouvement au niveau des jambes, et donc rendait impossible de randonner correctement. Nous avons donc travailler en réhaussant un peu la fermeture pour améliorer la liberté de mouvement. Pas de souci non plus d'imperméabilité avec le choix du composant.

Nous avons donc travailler en réhaussant un peu la fermeture pour améliorer la liberté de mouvement. Pas de souci non plus d'imperméabilité avec le choix du composant.
