How is volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in litres.
HOW VENTILATED IS MY BACKPACK?
Nothing is more uncomfortable than a wet back, particularly in the very hot desert.
To avoid this, the backpack should be as far away from the back as possible. Therefore, we have added foam pads and the backpack’s frame is set to allow better air flow.
Thanks to this shape, the back vents of the DESERT 500 shirt can keep the back cool.
WATER-RESISTANT OR WATERPROOF?
Water resistance is how well the product leaves water on the surface. The more the water flows without soaking the fabric, the more it is waterproof. The bag doesn't get saturated (if there is light rain) and remains lightweight.
In the case of heavy rain, the water will accumulate and eventually soak the bag.
Waterproofness, however, is when water does NOT get through (rain, snow, dew, damp, etc.).
Warning, this bag is water-resistant and not waterproof!
HOW DO I ADJUST MY BAG?
Loosen all straps (shoulder straps, belt) and put the bag on. Then, you can position the belt around the waist, adjust it and do the same with the shoulder straps.
