      I recently purchased a head torch from Decathlon, hoping it would be as reliable as the previous model I bought 2-3 years ago. My old torch served me well throughout numerous treks, and only after it finally stopped working did I decide to get the new one. Unfortunately, the new model turned out to be a complete disappointment.

      Within just a few days of buying it, the torch stopped working, leaving me without proper lighting for the entire trek. Despite handling it with care, it just gave out way too soon. I could immediately tell that the build quality was not up to the standard I expected, especially compared to my old torch.

      It's frustrating to see that the quality has significantly dropped despite the same brand and similar product type. I trusted Decathlon based on my previous experience, but this purchase has made me rethink that. I wouldn’t recommend this new head torch to anyone looking for a reliable outdoor companion
