TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Isothermal

We have laboratory tested this cooler according to the EN 12546-2 standard, at an ambient temperature of 32°C, without ice packs and half full. It took 7 hours to go from 5°C (food temperature straight from the fridge) to 15°C.
By adding a 1.2kg ice pack, the time to go from 5°C to 15°C under the same conditions is 10 hours.

Capacity

Volume: 20 litres.
Recommended for 2-4 people.
Inside you will find a system for keeping your bottles upright during transport and a zipped pocket at the top.
On the outside, you'll find a zipped pocket, separate from the cooler, so you can keep your belongings dry and stop them coming into contact with food in the cooler (wallet, keys, map, camera, etc.).
The bag also has 2 outside mesh pockets.

Dimensions

Cooler dimensions when unfolded: (Length x Width x Height)
Outer dimensions: 29 x 19 x 42 cm
Inner dimensions: 28 x 18 x 38 cm

Once folded, the cooler is more compact and measures 29 cm wide, 10 cm deep and 40 cm high.

WATERPROOFING

this rucksack is not waterproof inside. The bottom of this rucksack doesn't hold in water.
Sometimes condensation is created inside the bag and some drops of water may seep through the seams. Don’t worry, this rarely happens and won't damage your food.

Directions for use

To keep your food cold for longer, you can add ice packs to your bag.
When packing your bag, we recommend that you put the food that needs to stay cold together at the bottom of the bag.
Finally, to increase the thermal performance of your cooler bag, we recommend that you only open it when you need and close it quickly.

How is the bag's volume measured?

The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: we fill the main compartment, as well as each pocket, with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in litres.
