      Brightness

      The 100 10x26 binoculars are designed for observing wildlife in daylight in clear conditions. The components used provide a bright, sharp, well contrasted image during daylight. They also offer a 64% rate of light transmission.

      Waterproofing

      These binoculars are nitrogen-filled to keep water out and prevent internal fogging. Withstands immersion in 1 metre of water for 30 minutes.

      Adjustment for spectacle wearers

      Twist up eyecups for spectacle wearers.
      For non-spectacle wearers, twist out the eyecups as far as they will go. For spectacle wearers, twist the eyecups down to the binocular body.

      Focusing

      To obtain a clear, sharp image of the observed animal, turn the central focusing knob to the left or right until you get a sharp image.

      Adjustment of diopter compensation

      To compensate for difference in visual acuity between your eyes:
      Close your right eye and focus on an object about metres away using the central knob. Once the object is sharp, close the other eye and repeat the operation, this time using the dioptre correction ring located near the right eyecup. The difference between your eyes is now compensated for. You no longer need to use the dioptre correction ring.

      Excellent rapport qualité/prix pour ces jumelles.
      Il faut juste passer un peu de temps pour bien les régler…
      Comme le diamètre des objectifs est petit et la pupille de sortie aussi, l’écartement inter-pupillaire doit être parfaitement réalisé avant utilisation (il est indiqué précisément sur les ordonnances de lunettes).
      Le réglage dioptrique est ferme et ne se dérèglera pas seul.
      La qualité optique est de bonne facture, avec des détails assez fins visibles (bien sûr, il y a une différence avec des modèles plus lumineux).
      Les observations sont très agréables de jour et par grand soleil, par contre lorsque la luminosité est faible (soleil couché), ces jumelles seront vite remisées dans le sac car peu lumineuses.
      La qualité de fabrication est très bonne, l’étanchéité est vraiment un plus.
      Le sac de rangement est trop petit et très cheap.
      Il manque une protection en caoutchouc coté oculaires (surtout si ceux-ci sont repliés car l’on porte des lunettes).
      Les lentilles d’objectifs étant en retrait, il n’est pas impératif d’avoir une protection pour elles…
      Ce modèle conviendra aussi parfaitement à un enfant, qui pourra les garder bien des années...
